TIM ALLEN

Director

Tim is the director of ABC Alarms and has over 45 years in the security industry.

Despite taking a step back from the day to day running of the organisation these days, Tim is still an active part of the management team. Tim helps to guide the organisation through the many changes and advancements we are seeing in today’s rapidly changing security environment.

justin ALLEN

General Manager

Justin Allen is the General Manager of ABC Alarms. Having jumped in to give Tim a hand straight after leaving school Justin has over 25 years experience in the security industry, and has provided the direction that helped make ABC Alarms what it is today.

With Tim having taken a step back, these days it’s Justin who looks after the day to day running of the company while also assisting to provide quotes as part of the estimation team.

Senior Estimator

Andre has worked in the Security Industry since 1994 for ABC Alarms and has a thorough knowledge of various systems within the Security/Access Control, Salto Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, MATV and Public Address platforms. He has decades of experience in installation and commissioning processes for all systems mentioned. Andre is focused on providing customer service to all our clients and refined cost effective quoting due to his experience out in the field and up to date knowledge in the Security Industry.

STEWART PYE

Project Manager and PA Specialist

Stewart began his working life in the live music industry, as a sound engineer in 1992. Realising he didn’t want the lifestyle of the live music industry, he completed an Advanced Diploma of Electronic Engineering in 1998. Upon course completion he began working for a local Audio Visual / Electronics company where he was involved in designing, manufacturing and repairing audio visual equipment, and servicing systems on site. Stewart took a special interest in Audio Visual and Public Address systems, and enjoyed being out in the field, so when offered an employment opportunity by ABC Alarms in 2016 he was excited to join the company. From that time he’s been a valued technician, and in 2021 he took over as ABC’s dedicated Project Manager.

DIANNE SCALES

Salto Engineer and Business Development Manager.

Dianne has worked in Security since Early 2018, and educated herself in different brands, including Bosch, Dahua, Hikvision, Milesight, CS, HID, Risco and Salto. She started off in the security industry working as a sales rep for a supplier for 3.5 years before moving to an installing and building the Salto Brand through education and hospitality. Dianne is solution focused and provides exemplary customer service to all our Salto clients.

ASHWEEN KUMAR

QA and Project Manager

Ashween has a solid foundation in electronics having worked in the industry since 2003. He has honed his expertise across multiple roles in the security industry. Currently, Ashween serves as ABC’s QA specialist and project manager, and has worked for ABC since 2015. In his role he has extensive experience with top security brands, including Integriti, Inception, Tecom, Salto, AiPhone, Hikvision, and Dahua, and applies the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all projects. He has deep understanding of electronics and security systems, combined with project management skills, allowing him to deliver reliable solutions that meet diverse client needs.

ANISH PRASAD

Project Leading Hand

With over 20 years of expertise in electronic security systems, Anish has been a pivotal member of ABC Alarms since 2006. He specialises in advanced systems including Integriti, Inception, Salto, Aiphone, Hikvision, Vivotek, Dahua, and T0A. Anish’s commitment is to deliver reliable and expert solutions tailored to meet all your security needs.

JASON CURTIS

Service Technician

Jason has over 15 years of experience in the security industry, including 4 years in the nurse call sector. Prior to his career in security, he served in the Australian Army for 4 years, where he completed his combat engineer training. This diverse background has equipped him with a unique blend of skills and expertise, making him a valuable asset in both the security and nurse call industries. Jason has extensive experience working with a wide range of systems in the security industry, including CCTV, access control, and intercoms. His 15-year career has given him a deep understanding of these technologies, allowing him to effectively install, and maintain security solutions.

Alex EDwards

Service Technician

Alex has worked in the security sector for 23 years, for a diverse range of companies. He has a broad skill set with experience in all areas of the security industry including including Integriti, Inception, Salto, Aiphone, Hikvision, Vivotek, Dahua, and T0A. Alex is driven to provide exceptional customer service and find solutions to any problems our customers encounter.

Andrew Valiukas

Service Tecnician

Andrew has 19 years experience in the security industry where he spent many years working in central NSW on a wide variety of systems from access control and alarms to CCTV – both residential and large scale commercial. He has worked for ABC Alarms for 7 year and is a highly valued member of the service team.

Shayne Meyers

Service Technician

Shayne started his working career as a fork lift driver then went on to tertiary education in radio electronics where he worked at mascot airport as a Air Traffic Controller for three years then moved to Darwin where his job opportunities changed and he entered the security industry which is where he have been since 1992. Shayne has also done his electrical and and numerous IT related courses in his spare time. Shayne has worked on nearly all the brands of, alarms, access control, CCTV, intercom, MATV, P.A and networking systems out there over the course of his career, some just briefly and some to great detail.
